Playas del Coco is known for its great fishing and today we are going on a sport fishing trip with one of the area's best captains. So stay tuned, Adventure Vida starts now.
ANDRES: Hi my name is Andres and I am the captain of the El Coco Fishing Club here in Playas del Coco, Guanacaste.
Meet Andres Bonilla, Knowledgeable captain, competition winning fisherman and all around great guy, unless you are a fish. In that case you probably would not want to meet him.
ANDRES: Our fishing techniques are trolling, bottom fishing, jigging, casting, spearfishing or whatever it takes to catch some fish. Just today we went out with some guys from Florida and had a great time. Ryan and his friends caught a lot of fish and it was a great success of fishing experience.
Let's talk to ryan about the big day of fishing.
RYAN: Hi what's up guys my name is Ryan, I'm from Tampa, Florida and I came down to Playa del Coco to have a great time at the beach and in town and to go fishing with the El Coco Fishing Club. Look at that right there! RYAN: Andres the captain was very hospitable and knew how to put us on the fish and was very good at explaining what we were trying to do and I had a great time with him. We caught a lot of fish. We caught Pargos which are Snapper, we caught grouper, jacks, rooster fish, we saw a sail fish and we also caught a few tunas. We had been fishing with Andres all day and had done really well. We caught a lot of fish and were taking twenty minute interval turns on the rods and for whatever reason my one friend Josh didn't catch any fish on his turns. Everyone else had caught several fish so by the time the end of the day had gone up Andres kept fishing and said that we would go over the limit that we were expected to fish for, for what we paid and he took us to a good spot and caught a big fish for Josh and it really made his trip.
Nice fish Josh! So tell us Andres, what else do you offer?
ANDRES: We also offer our beachfront bed and breakfast in which you can stay for the night and go fishing early in the morning when there is more fish.

Playas del Coco es conocida por su excelente pesca. Hoy vamos en un viaje de pesca deportiva al golfo de papagayo con uno de los mejores capitanes de la zona. Aventura Vida empieza ya!
ANDRES: Hola, mi nombre es Andrés y soy el capitán de El Coco Fishing Club aquí en Playas del Coco, Guanacaste.
Conoce a Andrés Bonilla, capitán con conocimientos, ganador de torneos de pesca, él es un gran tipo, a menos que seas un pez. En ese caso, probablemente no le gustaría encontrarse con él.
ANDRES: Nuestras técnicas de pesca son de arrastre, la pesca a fondo, el jigging, casting, pesca submarina, o lo que sea necesario para capturar peces. Hoy mismo nos fuimos con algunos chicos de Florida y lo pasamos muy bien. Ryan y sus amigos atraparon una gran cantidad de peces. y fue una gran experiencia de pesca. Hablamos con Ryan acerca el gran día de pesca.
Ryan: Hola, ¿qué pasa muchachos, mi nombre es Ryan, soy de Tampa, Florida, y llegué a Playa del Coco para tener un rato exelente por la playa y el pueblo. ademas de pescar con El Coco Fishing Club.
Este es un pez grande!
RYAN: Andrés el capitán es muy hospitalario y sabe cómo localizar los peces. sabia explicar muy bien lo que estábamos tratando de hacer, todo fue genial. Capturamos muchos peces. Entre ellos Pargos, Mero, Jureles, Pez gallo, Vimos tambien un pez vela y también sacamos atunes. Pescamos con Andrés todo el día y nos fue muy bien. Capturamos un montón de pescado y tomamos intervalos de viente minutos en las cannnnas. por alguna razón mi amigo Josh no pesco nada en su turno. Todos los demás habían capturado varios peces de manera que cuando al final del día había llegado Andrés mantuvo la pesca y dijo que íbamos a tratar un poco más de tiempo para poder atrapar a un pez para Josh y atrapó un pez gordo para Josh y él estaba muy feliz!!
Bonito pez Josh! Así nos dice Andrés, ¿qué más ofrecen?
ANDRES: También ofrecemos habitaciones en nuestra casa de playa, frente al mar, con desayuno incluido. donde puede pasar la noche e ir a pescar temprano en la mañana cuando hay más peces.
