Nosara - Flying into the airport at Nosara brings you to a jungle town 5km from the beach that is definitely a special place. Slightly out of the way, Nosara has kept a natural charm which many beaches in the region have lost due to over development and logging.
Nosara neighbors the Ostional wildlife reserve where you can see species of turtle nesting in large numbers, this is reffered to as an "Arribada". This location is referred to as the most important nesting place in the world by many enviremental organizations.
Neighboring beaches Playa Pelada and Guiones have a bit more to offer a far as accomidations and ameneties close to the sea.
Fun facts: This area has many roads without signage so make sure to find a map or ask someone when traveling place to place.
