San Jose Information

Centralized in this beautiful country is the nations capitol, San Jose. Consisting of four major areas this city has lots to offer just about everyone and is a great home bade for anyone looking to do inland tours such as hiking, rafting and anything rainforest.

Alajuela is located to the west, you may have already been here and not even known it as this is the location of Costa Rica's biggest airport, Juan Santamaria International.

Moving east you'll find Heredia, Costa Rica's City of Flowers which is home to the National University. Cartago, a riverside city known as Costa Rica's most religious destination. Then to the south Escazu, a stylish suburb and Downtown San Jose, where shopping, theaters, markets and nightlife are alive and well.

Staying in San Jose can be very inexpensive and very easy. Many tourists enjoy the downtown scene and come back for more!
